About WIA
Wisconsin Innovation Academy is a new charter school opening for enrollment K4-6 in the upcoming 2023/2024 school year. Located in convenient Wauwatosa, WIA is open to kids from the entire greater Milwaukee area.
WIA’s mission is to help kids be successful in school, in the community, and in life. The school prioritizes college prep, curiosity, and intercultural diversity. The curriculum is STEM and International Baccalaureate based and also provides Chinese and Spanish instruction.
WIA shares a campus with International Students providing a unique opportunity to be part of the broader world.

Having planned and directed many high quality schools, WIA’s innovative design offers these attributes all in one school that is conveniently located between the City and the suburbs for accessibility to all children and families. In addition to offering a high quality program, WIA is committed to offering school responsiveness, so that children are neither bored nor lost, but are engaged in an assets-based learning culture with regular opportunities to flourish individually and together.
